As social distancing continues around the world due to worries over COVID-19, singers around the wold join together to offer online concerts, either for simple entertainment or to raise money to help the more vulnerable cases suffering this pandemic.

This is the case with mass media company 88rising who announced an exciting lineup for ‘ASIA RISING FOREVER’, an online music festival that will showcase some of the greatest Asian talent around the world.

The lineup includes Kang Daniel, HYUKOH, CLC, and Lim Kim, along with Alextbh, Audrey Nuna, Beabadoobee, Iñigo Pascual, Josh Pan, Keshi, Luna Li, mxmtoon, Niki, No Vacation, Phum Viphurit, Rich Brian, Stephanie Poetri, Suboi, Umi, Yuna, and 9M88.

The three-hour livestream broadcast will begin on May 7 at 10 a.m. KST on 88rising’s YouTube and Twitter pages. Hosted by Los Angeles-based rapper Dumbfoundead, the digital festival will feature exclusive interviews, surprise games, and intimate performances from the bedrooms of Asia’s most exciting artists. In particular, Daniel will have a comedic dance battle against Rich Brian.[s]

Also, in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, all donations raised during the broadcast will benefit Asian Americans Advancing Justice (AAJC), a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit. 88rising is also partnering with the American Chinese restaurant brand Panda Express®, which has made a contribution to AAJC.[s]
