Pepsi X Starship Project is a digital single project organized by Starship Entertainment and Pepsi that operates like SM Station. The artists chosen to participate are not restricted to Starship Entertainment artists and can be from outside the agency. Their For the Love of It project began in 2019. Four digital singles were released for the spring, summer, and autumn seasons as single albums titled “The Love of [Season Name]”. The featured artists promoted Pepsi and later performed at the Pepsi concert.

Daniel and ZICO’s collaboration deviated from the previous season-themed releases. Instead, this collaboration marked the beginning of the For the Love of Korea project and promoted the beauty of Korean culture. The two released a CF song titled “Refresh”, which was co-produced by Steve Aoki. Various billboard and subway ads with the two artists were displayed around Korea. Select stores sold Pepsi cases with a limited edition promotional CD. Starting mid-May, 5 random photos of 20 would be included with each set purchase. 2 sets purchased from Homeplus would have a poster.
