On the afternoon of January 31, the 30th High1 Seoul Music Awards was held at Jamsil Gymnastics Stadium, Seoul. Hosted by Shin Dongyup, Kim Heechul, and Choi Sooyoung, the ceremony was conducted without spectators, complying with the quarantine guidelines due to the spread of COVID-19.
On this day, singer Kang Daniel became the main character of the main prize, winning Bonsang for his album MAGENTA. During his speech he said, “It’s been a long time since I’ve been at the Seoul Music Awards, and it’s an honor to be able to greet everyone. Thank you for the award. I want to say thank you to my fans for giving me this award. DANITY, I love you.”
Kang drew attention by saying, “In 2020, there was a time that I had low self-confidence and was exhausted, but as a motivation to work harder this year, I will gratefully receive this award.” He continued, “With determination, I had prepared a lot of things in 2021, so please look forward to it.
