Pepsi X Starship Project is a digital single project organized by Starship Entertainment and Pepsi that operates like SM Station. Daniel was previously selected for 2020 Pepsi CF promotions. Pepsi Korea launched for the first time a Gatorade campaign that has artists of various genres collaborating to release new music.
On May 19, 2022, Pepsi Korea and Starship Entertainment kicked off the 2022 Gatorade Campaign by posting through SNS that figure skater Yuna Kim would be their first Gatorade partner. IVE’s An Yujin was revealed as the second partner a couple days later. Kang Daniel was confirmed as the final runner on May 25.[s] [s] [s]
The “Move Like This” song released on June 20, 2022 combines Yuna Kim’s singing that is comparable to a singer’s, Yujin’s clear and cool tone, and Daniel’s soft and husky tone. It has a confident and hopeful message that if you work hard and passionately for the future, you will be able to achieve what you want.[s] [s]
An interview of all three Gatorade partners taken before recording was posted on the 19th. Yuna said she was grateful for the opportunity since this sort of project was difficult to come across. Yujin said, “The meaning of this campaign is that Gatorade always cheers you on and is by your side as you sweat and work hard to be the best. I hope you show a lot of interest for the song ‘Move Like This’, which conveys Gatorade’s message very well.” Daniel explained the song as “a retro-style dance song that mixes the rock and retro genres together very well. It’s a song that cheers for each person who’s working hard, sweating and doing their best doing what they do, and that’s about wanting to give them more strength.”[s] [s]

Yuna Kim’s individual TV and billboard ads were the first to be launched a couple days after the song release.[s] [s] Fans spotted in July 15′ and 30′ TV ads with all three Gatorade partners.[s] [s]
Convenience store GS25 had a sweepstakes event running in August until giveaway goods ran out. The event gave away 300 limited edition albums and 500 photocard sets. Purchasing Gatorade products and saving 5 stamps added an entry to the lottery. There was unlimited participation per person with up to 20 stamps per day.[s] [s] The Gatorade event quickly ran out of goods after one day.[s] [s]
